stereo3D Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 in full version you can use the console (m_sensitivity) so more decimal places are now possible. btw the fov type for doom 3 should be 4:3 base and sens doesn't scale with fov.
colesy Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Is there any way to fix the sensitivity modifier for sniper scope in multiplayer gameplay?
bgaccord Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 bump i want to know too ,sensitivity modifier for sniper scope
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted May 22, 2016 Author Wizard Posted May 22, 2016 I'll do this later today! bgaccord 1
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted May 22, 2016 Author Wizard Posted May 22, 2016 I've added the sniper scope calculations, but couldn't really find an adjustable modifier. Did I miss anything?
stereo3D Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 unfortunately there is no zoom sensitivity option. zoomfov isn't fixed and depends on your fov. maybe they specified a zoom factor of 1.8x (=90/50). sensitivity multiplier seems to be 0.35. so when zooming in, fov gets reduced by 44 % and sensitivity by 65 % - no wonder sniping feels terrible.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted August 14, 2016 Author Wizard Posted August 14, 2016 fov type should be changed to 16:9 base. That's a first I think. I guess it means that FOV 90 is really 58.72 vertical degrees. I need to make a formula so this happens in the background, I think it should be possible without any code update.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted August 14, 2016 Author Wizard Posted August 14, 2016 Fixed is so it works as long as you don't change FOV Type. Full support will require a code update
stereo3D Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 i just noticed the actual hfov for vortex rifle zoom says 40.97 instead of 50.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 30, 2016 Author Wizard Posted October 30, 2016 i just noticed the actual hfov for vortex rifle zoom says 40.97 instead of 50. That was a bug, it was intended to be 50. Fixed
