Trendle Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 Hello. This game also uses zoom_sensitivity_ratio & zoom_sensitivity_ratio_sharps (ADS sensitivity multipliers). Maybe you could add those to the calculator for 1:1 mouse movement? benedu3095 1
Trendle Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 Sorry, setting it to 1 does give you a 1:1 sensitivity - it just feels faster because of the FOV change. So if you calculate the FOV difference and adjust the multiplier accordingly your aim would be more consistent, I reckon?
Senslecker Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 @DPI Wizard Is it true that FoF uses resolution based horizontal fov? It seems to me, that it is the same as other Source-Games (4:3 based), which would throw the calculation off.

Senslecker Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Ah, ok I was just curious, as I checked my list of sensitivites all the source games had the same sens just FoF was off. Thank you for checking!

Thank you for checking! You're right, it is 4:3 based as expected. I was initially testing in single player where the FOV is locked! It's updated now. Senslecker 1
benedu3095 Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 (edited) @Trendle was absolutely right a few years ago. I can confirm zoom_sensitivity_ratio changes the sensitivity of scoped rifles (Sharps Rifle), while zoom_sensitivity_ratio_sharps corresponds to non scoped ones (Smith Carbine & Henry Rifle and I guess also the Mare's Leg). Could you look into it @DPI Wizard? Edited April 8, 2022 by benedu3095
