FPSgamer Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 (edited) Am I suppose to be using 360, monitor distance, view speed 1, or view speed v2 ... when converting sensitivities? thank you! Edited February 19, 2019 by FPSgamer
ScottyFPS Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 (edited) 360 distance is an archaic method and I don’t recommend it. Between viewspeed 1, viewspeed 2, and monitor distance, It boils down to personal preference. There are videos and threads on the front page of the calculator explaining the difference between each. I personally recommend monitor match 0%. Edited March 29, 2018 by 1TimePurchase
FPSgamer Posted March 30, 2018 Author Posted March 30, 2018 thanks. for some reason I do better with monitor 100% for hipfire and then use viewspeed v2 for scopes. hopefully I am doing everything right lol

I also personally use 0%MM because it is matched and feels better at the crosshair. 100%MM would be my second option, since this is the same as converting using the gear ratio. Viewspeed (v1) hangs around 75%MM but I don't really think there is any advantage to using it. But yeah, it helps to understand the advantages and disadvantages of each method to help you decide, but you can use whatever. But just make sure you don't keep changing your mind - because of distortion it will never be perfect.
