Hope my question makes sense If you haven't changed the calculator settings, this will make all scopes have the same tracking speed: fahrraddieb 1
F15htastic Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 (edited) This may be worth double-checking following Crytek's engine update/soft re-launch that they're calling "Hunt: Showdown 1896." Logging back in, it preserved my old sens values but they feel a bit off. Whether the game has changed or it's just a side-effect of having not played for awhile, I'm not sure. 90skidd Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 (edited) It could be due to having the crosshairs lowered or centered which is a new settings that I think changes fov a little? Edited August 15, 2024 by 90skidd

AIucardd Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 hmm, calculated sens feels way to slow, idk why.

I have send a link to visualise what I mean, but TLDW: 360 for hipfire and Monitor distance dynamic for ADS, same FOV as Kovaak, mercenary aim type and default shoulder (no zoom). Sens for some reason at least 2 times slower than kovaak's My first thought was that there is no raw input in hunt, so I changed mouse pointer speed from 4 to 6. Same effect. Before update everything was perfect. Edited August 18, 2024 by AIucardd

Outrun Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Has anyone ever been able to test and confirm whether or not Hunt definitively uses raw input, no aim-smoothing, no acceleration?

Tr9y Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Hello Wizard! I please need your invaluable help once again. I've been trying to find a comfortable sensitivity for me in Hunt Showdown and once I found it (was testing in game using the Aim Down Sights as a reference -landed at 0.74-, <Attr name="IronSightsMouseSensitivity" value="0.74"/> in the config file). Once I got that one sorted out I've checked which default sensitivity would give 0.74 IronSights sensitivity but the 0.4 the calculator says feels WAY slower than it should and I'm thinking I've made some mistake with any of the settings. Please don't mind the CS2 conversion, in this case it is not needed all I'm interested in is about Hunt Showdown. I'm sharing the link https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=366cdd266e246e49b7f0071a43db0761 just in case you could please help me. In the end I used this calculator someone made and the default sensitivity I get there of 0.875 feels a lot better. It is an old calculator (before the game got renamed/overhauled with a very big update) but it seemed to work (haven't played scoped weapons yet tho). https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VElOhzU-0MD8LvczIha7RsFRlw7G97xahrDYRJZkW7E/edit?gid=0#gid=0 Took it and editted from this reddit thread https://www.reddit.com/r/HuntShowdown/comments/rce4m8/script_for_calculating_correct_sensitivities_for/ Edited 4 hours ago by Tr9y

You are using 360 distance for the ADS conversion, and when you doing it this way you are changing the source for the calculation from your ironsight to your look sensitivity. Instead you should convert from ironsight to "All", and use the same setup for ADS as you have for scope (unless you have a different preference: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=60f1049fb32d09579f8d64c6c4716bec Tr9y 1
