bonzer Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 So I just got a membership and I'm trying to convert my overwatch sensitivity to other games. Am I wrong in thinking that it should be keeping the same 360 distances between games? When I convert my sensitivity from OW to CS:GO it goes from a 17.0561 inch 360 to a 16.3817 inch 360 in CS:GO. Why is that? I made sure to enter DPI/Res/Screen Size/FOV correctly in each game.
WhoCares? Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 (edited) 360° distance is only the same when the fov are the same. Overwatch is locked to max 103 horizontal fov CS:GO is locked to a fixed 106.26 horizontal fov (90 hfov 4:3 equals 106.26 hfov 16:9) Thats why your 360° distance differs. You cant use 360° distance is this szenario, because ist not possible to lower the fov in csgo, neither it is possible to increase the fov in OW further than 105 EDIT: actually you can match both games with 360° distance, but the resulting sensitivity would be wrong. Wizard DPI Wizard Posted February 7, 2018 Wizard Posted February 7, 2018 It depends on what matching method you are selecting, 360 Distance, Monitor Distance or Viewspeed v1/v2. 360 Distance will as it implies always keep the same 360 distance, but should only be used for hipfire conversions.
