rasser11 Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 (edited) So I wanna convert my R6 sens to CSGO and I want it to be as close as possible while I'm ads with iron sight and acog , but I don't know which 1 to use, 360 distance, viewspeed or monitor distance? Just straight up the best 1 that gives me the most precise conversion. Thx Edited January 28, 2018 by rasser11 Want to type more in depth
potato psoas Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 There isn't a "best method" because of distortion on the monitor. But the two "best" methods are 0% MM and 100%MM. 0%MM matches at the crosshair and 100%MM matches at the edge of the monitor. If that confuses you then you should watch this video explaining what monitor matching is: Although, the problem with 100%MM is that it's aspect-ratio dependent, which means you get different results using different aspect ratios. This isn't that big of a problem but if you think it is you can use 100%MM but for the vertical FOV, which you can calculate by dividing your vertical by your horizontal (horizontal:vertical), e.g. if your aspect ratio is 16:9, the 100%MM for your vertical FOV would be 9/16 = 56.25%MM. You can of course pick whatever monitor match percentage you like, or even use Viewspeed. It all depends on what you prefer to use. Personally I use 0% MM because I prefer to match at the crosshair.
