Help converting sensitivity, changed from 1200p 16:10 monitor to 1080p 21:9 monitor

Hey guys, please help me change sensitivities.

Back when I played BF4 with 2500 dpi, 0.001 sensitivity (10.472 inch 360) I used a 1200p 16:10 24" monitor. I recently bought BF1 and a 1080p 21:9 monitor. This new monitor is vertically shorter, so I assumed that in order to maintain the same FOV I'd need to reduce it right? Because with 1200 vertical pixels I used 74 vertical degress. Ratio and proportion that, and you'll get 66.6 Vdeg for 1080 vertical pixels, right?

Now my problem is, what method should I use to convert sensitivities then? Viewspeed 1 and Viewspeed 2 give very different results, and I'm very confused which is the true conversion ;( All I know is the sensitivities /should/ be different because I changed my FOV e.g. I can't use my old 0.001 sensitivity because I'm now using 66.6 Vdeg instead of 74 Vdeg.

If you keep the same vertical FOV, the extra width is just added on. This will in most cases make things more consistent.

Viewspeed 2 is adjusting for aspect ratio, Viewspeed 1 is not. That's why they are so different. One of them will probably feel right for you and the other one wrong, so try them both out.

Yes, but in terms of how much I actually see in-game vertically and how big they are, 1200p 74 Vdeg is the same as 1080p 66.6 Vdeg right? Having 1080p 74 Vdeg would make everything smaller than it used to be for me, because now it's fitting 74 vertical degrees into only 1080 vertical pixels instead of 1200 vertical pixels.

Anyway thanks, I guess I'm going to try and get used to my Viewspeed 2 sensitivity, since the Viewspeed 1 I got used to but it's too sensitive I think for accurate shooting. Dropped my 360 way down to 8ish inches instead of 10+.
