cammie Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Okay, I am very confused. I want to convert my CS:GO sensitivity of "1" to games such as Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege and Player Unknown's Battlegrounds. I have bought the premium pass but I am still very confused as I cannot get the rainbow sensitivity I need. I have put in as much information as I can and the program will still not tell me the sensitivity. Please help. https://gyazo.com/f367af98c677bae6095f67da14dc3f17
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted January 5, 2018 Wizard Posted January 5, 2018 For Rainbow Six and a few other games, you need to enter one or more sensitivity values for the calculation to work. This is because the sensitiviy is a product of several variables. You can enter enter the default value if you haven't changed it. The output shows you what value you need to enter, and the accepted range: Enter sensitivity 1 (MouseYawSensitivity=[1-100]) The Multiplier 1 value (MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit) will then be calculated based on this number.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted January 5, 2018 Wizard Posted January 5, 2018 Just now, joggus said: So I put in the mouse yaw from CS:GO? No, the MouseYawSensitivity from the Rainbow Six config file. If you want to just set the sensitivity in-game, and not in the config file, change location from Config File to In-game
cammie Posted January 5, 2018 Author Posted January 5, 2018 And where is this config file located? I've tried searching around but I can't find it.

The default location is specified in the Game Info section if you scroll down in the calculator when you have selected the game: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\[USERID] [USERID] is a unique number representing your user id, so if you just go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\ you should see the folder.

Got it, thank you very much for your help sir.
cammie Posted January 5, 2018 Author Posted January 5, 2018 (edited) Wait, now my horizontal sensitivity is different from my vertical sensitivity, also every time I restart rainbow my sensitivity resets. Edited January 5, 2018 by joggus
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted January 5, 2018 Wizard Posted January 5, 2018 Set them both to the same value.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted January 5, 2018 Wizard Posted January 5, 2018 MousePitchSensitivity is the value (it's all mentioned on the game info). I don't know about the resetting. Some people have this issue, others don't. Turning off cloud sync in whatever program you used to download the game might help. If not, you have to set the sensitivity in-game instead.

The reason why I was confused as to why the horizontal sensitivity was different from the vertical sensitivity was because I did indeed make the PitchSensitivity and the MultiplayerUnit the same but for some reason now the only thing resetting is the PitchSensitivity, nothing else. Any ideas?
