New pc player need help to config sens ( fortnite )

Hello, so i just bought a pc after a very long break and i have a huge problem about setting up my sens in fortnite.

I set up my sens in csgo since it had a proper map to practise sens and im now trying to replicate it to other games. Had no problem with overwatch where i just used the viewspeed v2 to get similar aiming, but as for fortnite i had a bit of struggle. First i had to match ads and hip which was as simple as putting ads to 1. No joke it took me 20mn to find that info.

Anyway, now that i had fixed this i tried one game and ended up getting a snipe in my first chest, and realized i had to config another sens.

So my question is, how do i match my scope sens from csgo to fortnite ? since there is not options other than hip on the calculator. or should i just use 1 for sniping as well ?

thanks in advance !

Hi!

If you select "In-game" as location for Fortnite, you will get the scopes as well. For scope to scope conversion, do not use 360 distance. Try Viewspeed or Monitor Distance.

Edit: Unless you are talking about Save the World mode, where there is no scope sensitivity currently in the game. The ADS calculation is the closest you get.

Indeed, it should be good :)

but it seems weird that a 360 rotation is 47cm for csgo and 69cm for fortnite. Or is it not important and base length being the stat to look for ?

Using 2.227773 sens for csgo and 1 for scoped, which translates into 0.015691 in config file for fortnite ( which is the closest to sens, ig being more off ). ABout 2 cm off actually.

Not that i mind that much but being the closest would be preferable. also a random question which i cant find the answer anywhere, should i adjust my scope sens on hipfire with speedview ?

If you use Viewspeed or Monitor Distance, the 360 distance will be different. The difference depends on the FOV, since these methods only match what you can actually see on the monitor.

So should I use viewspeed v2 to translate all of my sens ? Like for ex is it possible to match different  sens of the same game by using speedview ? Hip to scope on csgo with speedview is viable so that I have the same "sens"?

Perfect then that's what I had been doing for now except for fortnite where I couldn't get my hands as where to scope sens was. Thanks a lot both of you, I should be good to go with my in game settings.

So just so I get it right , 360 is good for same FoV but as soon as it gets different ( other games, different weapon zooms ) that's when speedview comes into place ? So when I move 1cm it moves the same amount on screen ?
