MetalPigeon Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 (edited) So i jumped on this site and used the calculator to change the sensitivity for each of my games. only after changing the value in each config file it hasn't changed the sensitivity in-game. I know i'm changing the right file because when i change the sensitivity in-game it changes the value in the file, but not vice versa. if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated Edited December 3, 2017 by MetalPigeon
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted December 3, 2017 Wizard Posted December 3, 2017 What games specifically is this? "Unfortunately" I don't have this problem myself so I can't really add anything to the solution, other than making the file read-only and/or turning off cloud sync of config files (which does not solve the problem a lot of times). But see many other people have this problem. I'm not sure what conditions triggers it, but I try to add in-game sensitivity where possible so you have an option, albeit less accurate.
MetalPigeon Posted December 3, 2017 Author Posted December 3, 2017 The games i'm trina do it with are CS:GO, CS:S, Arma 3, Far Cry 3 & 4, Gmod, Insurgency, Rust, Squad, The Hunter and War Thunder. adjusting the config files has made no difference to sensitivity in any of these games. Because multiple games use a slider for sensitivity i can't actually apply the specific value that the calculator gives me. i'll try what you suggested and see if it works.
