rippysnipes Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 new to the advanced calculator, just bought lifetime membership, i can figure hipfire 360 sensitivity which is 46 cm but how to say, get calculations for soldier zoom sensitivty in ads, so its 1:2 ratio, 92cm for 1.00x zoom and what would need to be changed in the config file the soldier zoom or the scope speeds?
rippysnipes Posted December 2, 2017 Author Posted December 2, 2017 sort of figured it out, can someone tell me what would be best to use, monoitor distance or viewspeed v2?
rippysnipes Posted December 3, 2017 Author Posted December 3, 2017 mad cheers, it was set to monitor distance
rippysnipes Posted January 17, 2018 Author Posted January 17, 2018 just doing a bit more fine tuning, with viewspeed v2, which is the best fov type to use, Vdeg or Hdeg 4:3

You will see the config FOV and actual FOV in the output.
rippysnipes Posted January 17, 2018 Author Posted January 17, 2018 ok, about that "actual fov" whats that referring to?, i have 120 horizontal fov, which it says actual HFOV 133.17?
WhoCares? Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Your horizontal fov that you are seeing is actually 133.17 because you are using a 16:9 monitor. 120 horizontal fov is for 4:3 aspect ratio
rippysnipes Posted June 26, 2018 Author Posted June 26, 2018 so for a 4:3 resolution (1280x960) stretched on a 16:9 monitor which of these is correct for say a fov of 90
