hellothere Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 (edited) I have a question. This is regarding sensitivity, DPI and resolution. Whenever I seem to change the resolution of CSGO it changes the sensitivity. After researching on forums online it has been concluded that sensitivity does not need to be changed when changing resolutions however this seems to be different here: (the only thing I'm changing is the resolution) 16:9 resolutions should have the same sensitivity http://prntscr.com/73lnbl http://prntscr.com/73lnoq http://prntscr.com/73lnsy Look what happens here: http://prntscr.com/73r1rr http://prntscr.com/73r25h http://prntscr.com/73r2g5 Something is wrong here Does sensitivity change when resolution is changed even in full screen? Please help thanks! Edited May 10, 2015 by hellothere
hellothere Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 Suddenly it's fixed did someone change something?
hellothere Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 Never mind it's my fault I realised that I was changing the desktop resolution instead of the game one! Sorry.
Mednes Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Why is this? I thought resolution didn't matter for the game, just the aspect ratio?
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 3, 2015 Wizard Posted July 3, 2015 Why is this? I thought resolution didn't matter for the game, just the aspect ratio? It doesn't, but if you change the resolution in the Windows portion of the calculator, you change the whole premises for the calculation.
