Nove Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 (edited) So I tried making my my mouse pointer sensitivity same as my Warface, so I did the caculator I set my WPS and all and it said it would convert to Warface 17 sensitivity, well I did that and it didn't feel right, so i tried doing it to CSGO and it gave me 2.2641 which equals 11.1 inches for a 360 and Warface was 13.0 inches for a 360, I don't know which one is right but I use 650 DPI 5 WPS w/ Windows 8. For now I just converted the CSGO Sensitivity it gave me and converting to Warface which gives me 20 at 11.1 same as CSGO. If you don't get what I am trying to do I want my Mouse cursor speed the same as my game sens across all games and I get different results with every game and yes I am putting my WPS down when I do this Edited May 7, 2015 by Nove
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted May 7, 2015 Wizard Posted May 7, 2015 You get different 360 distances because desktop to game takes FOV into account. When the FOV is different, the distance needed to move the crosshair to an object at the edge of your screen changes as well, so the converter compensates for this. The goal of the desktop to game converter is to make this movement consistent, regardless og FOV, resolution and aspect ratio. If you want the same 360 for all games, use the game to game converter People will have different preferences on what feels right. Some prefer a constant 360 distance, some prefer a constant 2d distance. Nove 1
