samuel_hou Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 So...why we need vsync-on in this game? will half-vsync do? I have a 144hz monitor but around 70-90 fps. and what's the best choice for me? IS there any way to limit the FPS in esc-menu? IT ate my cpu and feel suck @DPI Wizard many many thanks if u can help me :DDDDDDD
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted August 4, 2018 Author Wizard Posted August 4, 2018 Vsync on might be outdated information actually. The sensitivity used to fluctuate a lot with vsync off, but I think they have fixed this.
tuphac Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 @DPI Wizard Hello sir, Can i please know what method of conversion GTA V uses when i have "Fine aiming control" turn on. this is for when using right click to zoom in, it slow down the sensitivty. I'll like to find out what Monitor distance it is so i can replicate it in Overwatch. it doesn't seem to be mdv 0%.

It just turns on acceleration, so the sensitivity is directly tied to how fast you are moving your mouse. In other words no method that can be replicated. tuphac 1
Scca Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 Since the game does have (I think 3?) different zoom levels for third person, I was wondering if the shown 50 VFOV when setting the calculator to third person applies for only one of those levels or all of them? Since the camera basically just moves farther behind, is there even a FOV change?

eggpoop Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Could you add the Raw Input/DirectInput and Windows Mouse settings from the RDR2 calculator into this game as well?

These options does not affect the base sensitivity in GTA 5 like they do in RDR2. All they do is to add smoothing/packet loss, so Raw Input should always be used. eggpoop 1
