Ch3wy Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows how to keep the same sensitivity while switching mouse pads. Currently i’m using a cloth pad, and I want to switch to a smooth plastic surface. I find the smooth feeling a lot more natural to aiming. I’m able to aim with a relaxed hand/wrist which is ideal. I do find the sensitivity is a bit off and i’m not sure what the best way to come close to 1:1. regards, Chewy
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted September 28, 2017 Wizard Posted September 28, 2017 This is a bit tricky since the sensitivity is (hopefully) exactly the same. The reduced friction is probably throwing you off, so you should either try it for a little while and see if you get used to it, or try reducing your sensitivity a bit and see if it feels better. If you're going for reducing the sensitivity, just experiment in one game you play a lot, and once you find your sweet-spot there transfer it to other games. If it feels to slow and not too fast try increasing it instead.
