Wizard DPI Wizard Posted January 12, 2015 Wizard Posted January 12, 2015 Some programs have built in acceleration that you can't turn off. QFT! This fix does unfortunately not fix acceleration in all games. It does solve the problem for some (usually older) games that do not support raw mouse input and suffer from some unintentional acceleration added by Windows. But other games have acceleration built into their engine, and for those games this fix does not help.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted January 29, 2015 Wizard Posted January 29, 2015 Specifically, what games does this not work on which "have acceleration built into their engine"? My use of it was for Quake 1 & 2, which are the only games I tried it on for the time being. It works on those, and they have the acceleration built in from what I've heard. At one point I will go though all games i have analyzed and figure stuff like this and general accuracy and packet loss etc. No time frame though, mid '15 maybe.
