StoneColeQ™ Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I don't know if its only my side but the sensitivity for counter strike source feels wrong. I put 4 inches for a 360 but I can't even do a 180 in the game. The calculator says 2.3 sensitivity but i have to put it at 11 for a 360. Maybe its me. I don't know. Could you look into it. CSS is all about precise aiming.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted November 11, 2013 Author Wizard Posted November 11, 2013 I'll look into it. What are your DPI and desired 360 distance? And have you changed FOV? I've seen CS games mess up the sensitivity if you have at one point changed FOV, but I'm not done mapping exactly what happens.
StoneColeQ™ Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 My DPI is 1800 and desired 360 distance is 4 inches. I can't change my FOV. One day I started it up and my sensitivity was off. I had to do manual calculation which I know is wrong. I'm using the Razor Deathadder 2013 edition and a SteelSeries QcK Gaming Mouse Pad if that helps.
StoneColeQ™ Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I reinstalled CSS and the sensitivity is now working. Thanks for the support though.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted November 17, 2013 Author Wizard Posted November 17, 2013 I've seen some CS games mess up the sensitivity if you e.g. at one point has used the FOV command in the console, even though it doesn't actually change your FOV.
